The Kingdom’s vision 2030 has paid great attention to the national architectural heritage, as His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince, launched the Saudi Architecture Map, which included 19 architectural styles inspired by the geographical, environmental and cultural features of the Kingdom. This map aims to link the urban design and development process with the painted architectural identity of each geographical region, in a way that enhances national identity and supports sustainability.
These architectural standards and foundations have been carefully and flexibly set to facilitate their implementation by real estate developers without imposing additional burdens, and in accordance with the Saudi Building Code and its technical requirements.

Saudi architecture has evolved in the modern era to become a harmonious blend of authenticity and modernity, highlighting traditional elements within contemporary designs that reflect the kingdom’s significant urban development and its emulation of the most prominent international architectural experiences, while preserving the spirit of the place and the national identity.
